DESCRIPTION
The EDH–4 answers the need for a low cost manually
regenerated dehydrator for pressurizing small volume
waveguide and coax. It is especially well suited for
Ku and Ka band applications.
The discharge pressure is 0.5 psig with a maximum flow
rate of 6.0 scfh with a typical dew point below -40°
C. The EDH–4 indicates pressure and status on
a bright red LED display. A microcontroller regulates
pressure and controls all dehydrator functions. Solid
state control of all functions insures reliability.
The desiccant container is conveniently replaceable
from the front, without removing the dehydrator from
its rack. Modular subsystems eliminate the need for
special tools and test equipment should repairs ever
be required. The dehydrator limits continuous air pump
operation to four hours in the event of a severe leak.
CE, 120/230 volt 50/60 Hz 24 va (maximum) operation
and selectable English or SI calibration ideally suit
the EDH–4 for global applications. A variety of
mounting configurations combined with a -40° to
60°C operating temperature range provide location
flexibility.
